Food for Crested

I've bought on Friday a pair of Cresties. For now they are housed separatly as the male is a little bigger than the female, but both are still juvies. I've search on the net about what they eat and on this board and I saw that many recomend CGD. The problem is that I can't find in my country this stuff. How can I replace it? What should I feed them so that they receive all they need?

Thanks for any help!

The best is to order the food in the USA, but if you don't have a credit card or any other way to get the food, you can give them crickets.
Make sure you dust them well, with vitamins and minerals!
You can also give them Dubia roaches (again, don't forget to dust them!)
Fresh fruit is also something they like. You can mesh up some banana and kiwi or something like that. NEVER give them citrus fruit, their stommach can't digest the citrus acids.

CGD and any of the Repashy/T-rex diets are complete, you do not have to feed anything else. I have no clue why you think they won't grow as big if they don't get crickets. I've been using the Repashy diets for a few years and have never had a problems with the geckos staying small(er).

They might grow a bit slower the first few months, but they catch up before they're full grown. As a matter of fact, some of my geckos who only ate the Repashy diets are bigger than the ones I raised years ago with crickets, fruit and yogurt. The Repashy/T-rex diets have everything they need and it's balanced, so you're not likely to have overweight geckos. Some people feel that heavy geckos mean healthy ones.

New Crested Geckos

Congratulations on your Crested Geckos, Dana! They are
fascinating creatures.
Check out; Pangeareptile.com/forums, a forum dedicated
to Crested Geckos. There you can also order the CGD, and
perhaps the two part system of feeding you'll be able to read
about there. Shipping is worldwide.
Others have answered your questions well.
Enjoy your new additions.

Sincerely,
Melissa

Thank you all for your replies. I'll do my best to try and order some CGD. Untill then I have no choise but to feed them dusted crickets, fruits and maybe some babyfood, as I read on this board some people give them that (I know some of you don't recomend it because it is high on sugar) and hope everything will be fine.
BTW, they happily ate dusted crickets from the firs day I got them!

Regards,
Dana

P.S. - One more (stupid) question: what does IMO means?

The person said they are trying to order some cgd

i just suggested organic baby food if they HAVE to use baby food as they may live somewhere that they can't get it.
