My Beauties (DUW)

[DecoGeckos]

A few days ago our heat pump in the house froze over (thank you freezing rain!) so we had to turn it off for fear of burning it up. Currently, we're sitting at 21*F, with a few inches of snow on the ground. I was holed up in the gecko room with 2 dogs, 4 puppies, the cat, 12 geckos and the space heater on HIGH :lol: Time to take pictures to pass the time!!!

Griffin (Tremper male) -

Piglet (Enigma Mack x Fasciolatus male), this gecko is almost impossible to photograph. He's the energizer bunny...keeps going and going and going... -

Chloe (unknown female, her genetics will be have to be proven) she's looking rather "dirty" here. Rather than go all white before a shed, she gets dirtier and dirtier as she gets closer. Below this is another picture of her, after a shed -

Thanks for shaing your photos. Hope everyone makes it through the freeze okay. I wonder if there is a list some place about what to do with herps if the power goes out in winter?

Oh, we got the heat turned back on within 4 or 5 hours, and our house has triple insulation, so it never got below 55 in the house, and didn't go below 68 in the gecko room...everyone is just fine!

If we have a power outage, I have heat packs, enough for each of my geckos.

Chloe is actually 7.75 inches long right now...pretty long for a 4 month old gecko!! She's always been very lanky...here is a picture that shows she was 5 inches long at 1.5 months.
