Nice set up. But be very care ful. Klemmeri are escape artist. They can get out of the smallest cracks. Mine get out all the time. But I usually catch them as soon as I see them. They arnt shy. Make sure they dont get into any other larger animals cage or else they might become dinner.
Best of luck with them. They are AWSOME!

One actually got out all ready! I have sphagnum moss pressed into the top of the background of the exo...and one went right through the moss and out the back......so i used electrical tape for the back.....i actually saw it go through the moss again, but this time came right back out! Luckily this did not happen tomorrow during work!

Gorgeous little buggers!!! :)

Nice stuff. klems are the best! I actually took the background out of my exo terra and siliconed some corkbark to the back. This prevents escape through those stupid holes they put in the back and looks a little nicer too (personal opinion). Also, ZooMed has a similar style enclosure that has a single door and none of those little holes in the top. I have one of those with Gonatodes in it and I think I like the ZooMed better. It was about 5 dollars cheaper too!

Nice set up!

I'm glad I came across this thread, as I was thinking of getting at least one Exo-terra, thinking they are the best. But I can't find anyone that sells them in Alaska, though I did find a 12x12x18 Zoo Med locally, and not very expensive either. Since I have small geckos, and plan to get more small geckos, it's nice to know the holes on the Zoo Med are less-escapable! :)

Now if I could buy the geckos easily.....

Very nice setup. I really like the sansevieria. It looks nice and healthy. How did you get it to birdnest like that? I have been looking for the birdnest type forever. I continue to cut mine back twice every season.

I have been so reluctant to buy a pre-fab terrarium... I always make everything from scratch or, more often, customize an existing cabinet, display case, etc. But this looks great and a little more convenient. Very nice setup.

I think they are different varieties.
I have both the one that grows very long narrow leaves that grow singularly and the kind that grow leaves that are a little wider in a funnel shape. (Like in the picture)
They are perfect terrarium plants, hard to kill, handles to much and to little water and does not need a lot of light to live (but to grow fast you need a lot).
I use the funnels shaped one as a holder for the food for my R. ciliatus. I just pop the little plastic cup in the funnel.

Nicely decorated terrarium and nice lizards by the way!

Thanks Axel. I too have both types. The one that grows very long and narrow is now consolidated to one pot and is just a plant in the room. The other funnel type is what I have been using in all my terrariums. I like the broad compact way it mainly grows. There are still a few leaves that will just take off and grow longer. Do you have pruning methods to make them grow more compact? Sansevieria are awesome terrariums plants. I would definitely like to obtain different varieties of this very easy to grow plant.

Hey Adrn,

Did my response go through to you?
I am having so many e-problems! I hate when I write something and then there is nothing in my sent/out box... I said something along the lines of: I cannot post an ad because I don't have enough credits... Not sure how to get credits... I live in Montrose which is adjacent to Glendale, CA (Los Angeles)... Can I just post photos of my laticauda hatchlings on the forum?
