Hi,
I looked in my Giant Ground Gecko (Chondrodactylus angulifer angulifer) cages after work today and found my first egg from them! The egg was laid on the sand and had a bit of sand stuck to it, but for all intents and purposes it looks o.k. The egg is remarkably large for the lizard.
I know this isn't a big thing for the folks in Europe, but I'm super excited about it. I've had both my pairs of Giant Ground Geckos for a few months now and have not seen any courtship activity -- I'm crossing my fingers and hope that the egg is good.
I hope that they will continue to produce for me.
Regards,
Dave
