Check this bad boy out. Wonder why they are endangered. Makes me want to breed these gorgeous snakes! They are so intelligent.

Ken,

If you are enamoured by that snake, you should have caught it and all of those like it, until you have a nice colony.

Not to rain on your parade, but that is not an Indigo (Drymarchon corais couperi) but is actually a Southern Black Racer ( Coluber constrictor).

A very nice snake in its own right, super smart, diurnal, so they would make a great dispaly animal.

Very active, so it requires a LARGE cage and plenty to eat.

I believe you should keep some Ken, seems like you would enjoy them!

And legal to posses.

I thought it was a blue indigo, hahaha! I looked pics up and everything too. This thing was slow as can be for a "racer." I don't have the space for these any ways. Though they are pretty damn cool. I know where a whole nest of them are, maybe I'll go over there with some mice and watch them engulf them ;-) haha!

Oh and Timm, you did rain on my parade ;-) But I told my girl that they usually have red chins and it was weird it was white. So she said it had a blue belly so I went with thinking it was a Blue Indigo...haha! Thanks for the clarification, I get to rub it in her face.
