Deleani female problems

I have a female deleani who have been copulated 2009-02-12 but not yet laied her eggs. She was digging untill a few days ago but did not lay them. Now the digging has stoped. To me this sounds like eggstocking......this night I gave her some water oral.

Should I wait or should I operate????

When I operate I stick kanyl throw the skin and in to the eggs and suck out the jolk, a few houers later the eggshells comes out. But obviously there is a risk with this, infection etc.



It would be very intresting to hear your oppinion.

Hello Bjorn,
go with her to a vet. He can give her oxytoxin and calcium. When this doesn't help you can finally stick the eggs.

We have no reptile vets where I live,,,,,,
oxytoxin is supposed to be deadly to geckos.

Try liquid calcium (like calcium-gluconate). Put some drops on her mouth.
