I seperated my male and female in january. I recently(yesterday) found 6 eggs :shock:in my females vivarium squashed and dried out. Would these eggs have been fertilised? I seperated them as the female had a lot of bite marks ffrom the male. Since i seperated them her colour has become more vibrant :Dand her condition has greatly improved:biggrin:

On the one hand, females do store sperm so the eggs could be fertile. On the other hand, females who have never met a male can lay infertile eggs. So it could go either way. Watch her, give her a lay box and if she lays more you can check to see if they're fertile. If you don't have an incubator (or even if you do) read up on how to incubate. Good luck.

I have a female who is still producing fertile eggs even though I took her away from the male over a month ago. But all of my geckos, and from what I have read most are this way, lay a set of eggs every two weeks-so who knows how long those eggs have been in the cage if you found 6 of them in there.
