Information about Giants.

I've looked it up and the sites I've gone to have said that a Giant is just a co-dom strain that can be found in Leopard Geckos. What is the weight that can classify it as a Giant if the lineage isn't known?
I have a Tangerine male that is a little over a year old that is over 80g.
I didn't know if he was curbing toward a giant size. I just think it's interesting because I read all these threads that people have and everyone talks about their 50-60g males.
Just wondering and thanks!

Just because your leo weighs over ~80 grams doesn't mean he is necessarily hetero for the giant trait. I'm not saying its impossible but more often than not people just have large geckos. I have noticed that giant neonates (and adults) are very lanky and long through the body (more so than a normal leo).

Just my 2 cents

Hey, whoa, chill out with that Shawn.
I know it's a stretch to think he may be part giant, but it would still be a cool idea.
The Tremper website says that one that is hetero for the trait sometimes shows a medium size (but still larger than the common size) of geckos. Such as greater than 80g.
We'll see.
If I have a large Leo, he may be able to pass that on though, and I could get bigguns. :)
Just hopeful.
