he is from my green line (rainbow stripe). he is breeding to females that are emerine X rainbow stripe.
emerine and rainbow stripes are kinda the same thing from two different lines. it is highly random and is by product of raptor/eclipse project that is being selectivly bred to look more greenish.
getting the green is basicaly when the lavander and the orange cover the same spot its not realy a green color that the gecko has it just looks greenish because of the combination of the two colors. you cant tell at hatchlings what they will look like. They have to be about 20 grams to tell better what they will look like. as in all leos they have a window that they look the best usualy about 20-40 grams some even larger. most after breeding look different. some stay nice but most change color.
the goal of this is to make a solid lav leo with and orange over lay. makeing the gecko look like an olive color i think it can be done.
when i first started breeding i hatched out this little one
she lived about 2 months and got an eye infection and died. I never hatched anything eles like her ever again. but still think it can be made.
