Okay I saw the pictures and I like everything you have but do you have a small bowl to put some calcium in it for when you get your new leo?

cool tank. I dont know anything about clay substrate so I cant comment, hope it isnt too hard to clean. For now I have a pretty simple setup, repti-carpet, my leo is a baby, I find its easier to clean, get out uneaten crickets, ect.. ect... Good luck. Do you have a UTH, they are very good for keeping the temperatures at night. I also suggest a timer so you dont have to think about plugging and unplugging everything all the time.

Oh ya know what is great for 24 hour lighting for your leo? red bulbs I have one for my girl and it is on 24 hours a day now i got her in March so when summer comes she will have a 50 watt red bulb in the winter or cooler days she has a 75 watt and that keeps her tempature right whear it should be I love red bubls and also leopard geckos do not like bight light at all it strees them out and with the red bulb she comes out more. ;)

I was actually in the petstore asking about this today. Do you use just the red bulb? I have a black "night" bulb that runs 24 hours and I have a 60 watt white bulb that runs all day and goes off at night, I also have a UTH that runs 24 hours. I was thinking that I wanted to switch off the white bulb but the kid i the store didnt know to much so I was gonna go back tomorrow to ask the "expert" there.
So a red bulb 24 hours & a UTH 24 hours? What do you suggest?

Looking at your pics again I am really impressed. It looks like the most natural gecko setting I've seen. Good luck with your cool tank and your gecko.

Well I would suggest for 24 hour light is the red bulb only all cuz it is lets streesful for your leo and it also makes them feel alot more secure in thire cage so the next time you go to the pet store get the red bulb and if it is warmer whear you are at then get a 50 watt if it is a little bit cooler still then I get a 75 watt. :)
