Leopard Gecko Shedding.

Hello all um my girl is going into shedding at the moment and well the shed skin is not covering her eyes and mouth is that normal? the rest of her body is all white but not her eyes or mouth I hope she is okay and nothing is wrong with her.

Nothing is wrong with her. It generally seems to start from the tail upward. If her face isn't white yet then she isn't in full blown shed yet.

I see but this not the frist time she has had this happen befor and this is how I will see it as long as she is shedding then she is okay but if she does not shed then I have a problum on my hands am I right?

You're going to see her with her body white and her face not a lot during shedding. Like I said, it generally seems to travel from the tail up. She's fine, this is completely normal and I see it in all my animals as well. If she starts having a lot of trouble shedding then you have an issue.

Well our pets are like our kids in a way ya know lol and I think of all my pets as they are like my own kids and I want to make sure that Iam doing the right thing so I don't hurt them in anyway.

Soco is fine. Here's a pic of Sprocket in what I like to call the "farmer's tan" part of shedding, lol.

Then Soco should look like this after a while. This is Athena starting to shed from the nose down

Yeah pearl was all white and me and my mom was gone for a while today when I got back home pearl was in her moist hide box and I took off the lid and she had got rid of all of that white lol she looks really cool now and thier is no skin left on her toes or tail so she did great and Iam happy now.

LOL yeah that is what she look like and yesterday me and my mom was out for a while and when we came back home her shedding was all done she shed really fast and she looks really cool everytime she sheds her colors come out even better then they was lol.
