Wondering if any of you guys house your females together? I have a few that are around the 30 gram mark, and i'd like to put two other girls in with them, currently two house this tank ( Biggest exo-terra tank you can get ) So i want to put these other two girls in there with them, but i'm scared they MAY fight ... Anyone had any problems with this? Do you think it'll be ok ?

Let me know, and post pictures of your tanks if you have more then one female in them, so i can get an idea of how many more plants i have to stick in there before putting the other two girls in there with them.

All girls have been in a Quarantine for a few months now.

Thanks

hey geckogirl89 in the tank to the far left I have four female geckos that live finve together. They spend most of their day together curled up in the back left hand corner until they wake up and do what ever it is they do all night. the only noticable thing that bugs me is when I put crickets in the tank and 2 will attack the same cricket and someone will accidently have their mouth bit in the process it's never hard enough to leave marks but thats as close as they get to agression. hope this helps by the way i keep them in an 18x18x24

Whether it is cresteds or leopard geckos...whenever I get ready to put more than one in an enclosure I break the whole tank down, clean it from top to bottom, completely rearrange everything, and then introduce them at the same time. That way no one gecko has a "home court advantage" so to speak. They both feel out of place and are less likely to exert any territorial agression. Not sure if this is necessary but it has always worked for me.

Thank you for your helpful post! i know i have to put way more into the tank before putting anymore into this tank! Everyone has been telling me to just watch them for a few days after putting them all together at once.

The cricket thing i've never heard about, but if i do indeed put the other two into this tank, i will make sure to put enough in there so that they do not fight at all.

Thank you for the pictures, gave me some good ideas! :)

Hmmm, looks like i should do this too before putting them in there! Good idea!
Thank you! :)
