my crestie wont sleep

last night i cleaned my crestie's terrarium as i have for the past 3 weeks, except this time i took out a sizeable fake rock because it had an opening underneath which the crickets hide in that he cant reach. I replaced the area with some sterilized bark and fake plants....
he seemed fine in the evening (i observe him under an infared bulb) crawling and hopping from plant to plant...and usually he crawls to a certain branch and goes to sleep until the next evening.
Its already noon and he's hanging by his tail in the spot where the rock used to be.
It may just be that he feels like he's in a new environment and needs to adjust, but im concerned...of course i dont want him stressed and any advice on what to do or not do would be helpful.

thanks

How can you tell whether he's sleeping or not since his eyes don't close? He may just be sleeping in a different position. Mine seems to go through periods where he'll be in one place day after day and then he changes.

are you giving him the proper 12hr photo-period? An open window with sun or a regular fluorescent lightbulb should do the trick. Another thing could be if his enclosure is placed somewhere loud.

Honestly, i wouldnt worry to much cause once ur crestie gets tired, hes gunna sleep
