Sorry guys, you are probably are sick of these, but i am about to buy this gorgeous girl who is about 6 months old, and wanted to confirm that she is what the breeder says she is.

He says she is a Hypo Tangerine....but im thinking that she's also possibly a carrot - tail? Pics below:

Many thanks :)

P.S Am going to call her 'Jaffa' as in 'Jaffa Cake'!

Thats okay you can post it here! :) It looks like a Hypo Tangerine to me, definatly not a carrot tail though, if it was a carrot tail then she'd have at least 15% of her tail base orange with no spots etc. She's a gorgeous little girl!

Carrot-tails cannot have spots in the first 15% of the orange at the base of theirs tails (as Holly said previously). Some CT's have spots on their tails as youngsters and those spots go away, but your girl's spots are very dark and defined, so I don't think that'll happen. But who knows. The only way to tell would be to watch her grow. She may be a Super-Hypo as well (less than 3-5 spots on the body or so), if she does not get any more spots on her body I would say so.
So Super Hypo Tangerine (SHT), IMO, and a very pretty one at that.:)
