Has anybody used a repti carpet for their cresties? If so, how well do they work and can I see some pictures of what they look like?

They are a good option, but they need to be cleaned thoroughly and quite often. It is a grey "mat" so to speak that is cut to fit the bottom of your tank. Works well for no substrate inhalation.

carpet is ok but when i washed it it buckled and gave the crickets an extra place to hide. right now im using cheap cabinet liner..non adhesive. i washed in a bleach/detergent solution and it lays flat. gives me 3ft for $2

sorry guys, but I'm sadly not getting a crested. My tank would need a diy flip, and my dad's worried that it will escape, ad if it does, I'll NEVER hear the end of it, trust me! And with that, my mom won't help either. So, I have to use a 10 gallon tank for something terrestrial. So, I'm thinking of a leopard gecko in one of the orange morphs. Hopefully a firewater!

nvm, I MIGHT be able to switch with my brother, as his tank DOES have a lock, and it's built in so my gecko won't escape. My mom said we have to talk about it as my brother may not want to switch (even though my tank is cleaner, I would have to clean his), plus, well, my dad must agree.... But I will be using tile.
