repashy crested gecko diet

I'm sorry for bothering you guys with such a stupid question, but I could not find the answer anywhere else. I was wondering, what is the shelf-life of an open bag of repashy crested gecko diet. I'm going to have to be switching over to this soon because they stopped selling the T-rex everywhere around my house.

this is what I heard:

1) Self life at room temp is under a week.

2) If you put it in the fridge it can last around 6 months or more.

Although on other forums people aruge that putting it in the fridge kills some of the ingredients (Kinda like the good bacteria in yoghurt drinks) although on the other side of the arugement people say that theses "ingredients" die after mintunes of being in the cage.

I have never heard anyone argue that putting it in the fridge will do that, however freezing it might. In the fridge I think it can easily last a year or more.

a bag of cgd lasts much longer than a week

as long as you keep it sealed it can last for quite a while..

Once it's actually mixed with water I'd say max 3 days, but the actual powder?? Probably good forever! =D

It will keep fine mixed in the fridge for a week easily. Probably will separate, but a quick stir will emulsify it again. i would recommend keeping the dry CGD in the fridge in the sealed bag or airtight container.

Guess a good related question is...how fast do geckos actually go through the stuff? As in, how much CGD does one gecko eat in, say, a month?
