where i am in canada they just about $100 but there are breeders that live a couple of hours away like mynewturtle.

there are hammocks at my local petsmart but i dont know how much they are.

Oh , Then its just that here in canada they sell Leo Gacko 4 times the price In Usa But i dont really care , I am really happy having my gecko regardless of how much i paid it. Keeping animals like reptiles and fishes IS a expensive hobby.
For the hammock i will have to buy one on internet but for now i only saw people shipping to Usa only. Ill keep searching and i will buy some more stuff.

Geckos from where I am in Ontario are $50 for the younger ones, and usually $100 for the adults since the pet shops put more money into feeding them and such.

Pretty basic world-wide unless you start looking into different and rare morphs, they may charge more for those.

Here's my terrarium, no Leos yet, but in about two weeks there will be


The black thing is a thermometer, and the hide is an emptied out coconut husk.
The two rocks you can see are just for recreation and the one on the right side (your right ) can be used to get at the rock you can barely see which is one I found at the beach and it can fit about 2 or 3 meal worms in it for dessert

Any suggestions are welcome

OH! And the light is just to make things visible for the camera. I use it sometimes in the summer when my parents have our A/C on. It brings down the Terrarium temperature a couple degrees.

nayte are you planning on bathing your leo when its shedding?? if not you need another hide to be the humid hide for shedding. other than that it looks nice.... unless there is more you might need that someone else can inform you of because i dont know anything else that you need or dont need.

Haha Nayte, I think i have the same water dish than you. Mine is a ceramic thing that goes under a ceramic flower pot. I cost me like 33 cents at walmart

I just got a new one today actually, I can't find a picture of it, but I changed my Terrarium around, Ill update it when I get another pic

its a black and white shallow dish, fairly medium sized.

A center fold is the piece in a magazine that's in the middle and folds out to almost 3 times its size.

But I Heard That You Can Get Drift Wood From The Beach And Take It Home, Stick It In The Oven To Dry And Kill Any Living Things On It. But Have To Becarefull Coz Of The Sap Comes Out Of The Wood Can Make Your Leos Ill. But Thats Why You Can Drift Wood Coz Its Been In Sea For Years.

Yeah, drift wood would be perfect, but you would need to wet it once again before you put it in the oven. Boiled water on a piece of wood would kill a bug quicker than the heat alone

I would suggest that you follow instructions on how to make driftwood AQUARIUM safe. If it is aquarium safe it will be 100% sure safe for your gecko. Theres no risk to take when we talk about animals :biggrin:
For the stuff, If you want more , I suggest that you buy stuff online. You can find cheap products that will be perfect for your leos. In fact it will be better than what you can buy at a store because you will have more things to choose from. So like this will have exactly what you were searching. And if for some reasons you cannot buy online , Look for a product you like and ask any pet shop to order it for you. Most of the time they will be able to get it within a week, But it is a little more expensive than buying it online.
