desert viv questions

i have a spare 40B i would like to use for geckos or lizards. what type should i be looking at. also what insects should i use for clean up crew, i looked at firebrats but they are to slow to get going. what about meal worm beatles, is having a clean up crew in desert viv reasable, it will be a natural set with plenty of hiding for the bugs. what would you recomend for plants. i'm not a noob when it comes to lizards and gecko been keeping for 10 years or so might i mind you i started when i was five tho. thanks

Aspidoscelis hyperythra beldingi - Belding's Orange-throated Whiptail, Xantusia henshawi - Granite Night Lizard, Crotaphytus bicinctores - Great Basin Collared Lizard, Coleonyx variegatus abbotti - San Diego Banded Gecko, Dipsosaurus dorsalis dorsalis - Northern Desert Iguana, horned toads, whats eles do you guys recomend. thanks
