Housing Cresties together

Hey guys, I am fairly new to cresties. Most of my experience is with leos and i currently have one cresty. I know that with leos one male and one female do not work well together because the male will stress teh female out with overbreeding. Is this true of cresties also, or could i put one male and one female cresty together? thanks guys

It is true of crested geckos too, the males are very pushy in the mating department.

Yeah, they can get aggressive and will continue to breed if they are housed together. It's recommended to separate them after a month or maybe a little bit longer, just to be sure the male did his thing and then get him away from the female.

I usually keep 'batchelor pads' for my boys in between breeding seaons, so far it works pretty good!

if you are just new to cresties I dont think putting a male and female together would be good regardless
