I back Ingo. C. turneri - Turner's thick-toed
It's the use of the common name Bibron gecko that Ingo used that got my attention, I felt (C. turneri = Turner's thick-toed gecko) was the proper ID, but I've zero experience in properly IDing the two species and we all know where feelings get us.
In obviously bad condition.
Very bad for sure, thats a sad batch of fresh imports if I have ever seen one. It seems they are being offered at nearly distributer level pricing, sadly though his batch is of such low quality he can't honestly expect to get that much out of the group.
Hassle with names comes from several revisions the pet trade usually ignores.
I understand, and see this around here all the time, a common one I love to laugh at every time is the names they tag on G. ulikovskii = (Golden gecko or Lemon gecko) it just depends on what sold last time around as to what they call it today.
Pachydactylus bibronii turneri -> Pachydactylus turneri -> Chondrodactylus turneri
It would be so nice if the folks that were making these changes were in closer contact with the reptile hobby, though I understand the gap does help preserve a sense of subject matter authority.
