Lineatus Issue

I have a full grown male lineatus. Yesterday I was checking him out and I noticed that behind his two front legs, there is something that looks like a fat pocket (on either side). They're about a cm long, is squishy, a bit lumpy, and it doesn't seem to hurt him at all when I touch it. They are not around his back legs. The is no discolouration that I noticed.
He eats gutloaded roaches as a staple, won't even look twice at worms. His behaviour hasn't changed, and he is still active at night.

Any insight on this?

I have pictures but I can't find my USB thing to put them on my computer right now...I'll upload them as soon as possible. Thanks.

OK, thanks for the input, is it detrimental at all? Anything I should change about his feeding routine?
How often and how much do you feed your adult lineatus?

if anything its a good thing, just shows that they have a fat reserve,i dont often see them eat,but they are pooing and they seem fine,i will add crickets every 3 days,it seems like there is always a few roaming the cage,so if there still a few i will leave it for another day or so and then add more,
i dont wanna jinx it but im hoping my female is gravid she is much bigger than the male in gerth, ive just got a horrible feeling that i might have already missed a clutch of eggs,i had it happen with my guentheri,i lloked in to see 2 good eggs that had both been savaged by crickets,i didnt even bother taking them out it was too late,:(

I feed them every day by hand, at least that is what I am trying. I have tried feeding them Achatina fulica (east african snails), but they do not seem to be interested. Anybody else feeding them snails successfully? I also feed them blaptica dubia, and different crickets. They are very picky on the food they want. Today cricket and tomorrow they don´t want them, but will only accept dubia. From the uroplatus I have kept, this very distinctive for Lineatus, maybe you guys see the same thing?

Good luck with your male and no problem, the legs are normal like this... :)

Yesterday i bought about 100 escargots (Petit Gris to be exactly) in different sizes. I'll let you know if my lineatus eats them or not.
