wax worms?

i put the wax worms in fridge as it says and they are stored at correct temp. Is it normal for them to be like dead when you take them out. There is no movement?? Im confused as to whats going on, also can they just be left out at room temp?

I leave mine out. If you put them in the fridge, they go into a sleep like mealies do. If you leave them out for a bit they're 'wake up'.

How much waxworms are you feeding? To much can cause obesity and fatty liver disease.

one or 2 a week. I just didnt know how long they last left out vs being left in fridge

As for the wax worms yes you can feed them once a week.

I have had butter worms here ..that I was told to refrigerate and they lived 3 weeks...I just had to provide them with food and moisture so I used cricket gut load cubes and put it in with them.
