My Snow Glow plans

Over the next few years/generations I intend to make a solid snow Glow line of Leopard geckos. My first thing is I'm getting a male Mack Snow and will breed it to my Normal poss. het Albino and to my Hypo. If the Normal is het for Albino ( most likely ) than this is how it would go. A Snow Glow is a Mack Snow Albino SHTCT.

Mack Snow x Normal het Albino =
25% Normal
25% Normal het Albino
25% Mack Snow
25% Mack Snow het Albino.

Then I would breed 2 Mack Snow het Albino together to get...

Mack Snow het Albino x Mack Snow het Albino=

6.25% Normal
12.5% Normal HET Albino
6.25% Albino
12.5% Mack Snow
25% Mack Snow HET Albino
12.5% Mack Snow Albino
6.25% Super Snow
12.5% Super Snow HET Albino
6.25% Super Snow Albino

Then I would breed the Mack Snow Albino to my 2 month old SHTCT and get...

Mack Snow Albino x SHTCT=

50% Mack Snow het Albino ( with orange coloring but not as orange as a SHTCT)
50% Normal het Albino ( with orange coloring " ")

Breed the Mack Snow het Albino ( with orange coloring " ") to a Mack Snow het Albino ( with orange coloring " ")
ALL of the babies will have more orange than the adults.

6.25% Normal
12.5% Normal HET Albino
6.25% Albino
12.5% Mack Snow
25% Mack Snow HET Albino
12.5% Mack Snow Albino
6.25% Super Snow
12.5% Super Snow HET Albino
6.25% Super Snow Albino

Remember ALL babies will have more orange than the mom and dad.

All of this together =SNOWGLOW

This is all rather confusing but i do see how your going about this, and i think you have a very slim chance if any to get a snowglow, but if you did it would take years to get the desired look and many more if you want to create a solid line of snowglows.

Why not just breed out a sunglow (which is an SHTCT Albino) (or buy one) and breed out a Super snow albino (or buy one) as this would be the most efficient way???

Also, do you know what strain of albinism that your normal may be het for? It's important to know when you are selling your animals.

Yeah, thanks a lot. It's my first project and breeding so it will have it's ups and downs and it will be exciting! Along the way I will also get some cool morphs like Super Snow and Super Snow Albino. :)

I have similar plans for next year. I am breeding these 2 together and hope to get someting close then it is just a matter of line breeding. The first is a jungle albino, the second is a albino mack snow, and the third is a sunglow. The important thing to remember is that some of the colors that are out there are based on the persons interpritation. It is a matter of setting an idea of what you want as a final end piece and then getting there. You can do this, good luck! Sorry about that the third is going to be used to try to help bring in more more sunglows for the project for next year.

You could just get a creamsicle (sht Mack snow) and breed it to a sunglow and all the babies will be sht's or Mack sht het for albino and in the next generation you will get some nice snow albinos. The only negative thing is using the mack snow as it has a super form and will wash everything away.

My 2 cents

True true. I could get some Sunglows, Creamsicles, and eventually Snow Glows.
