Worried About My Boy! Bit Of A Long Thread.

I Have About A 14week Leo Gecko, I Had Him From 5 or 6 Weeks. When I First Had Him, He Was Eating Straight Away And Was Happy To Eat As Many Black Crickets As He Wanted, And He Was Never Keen On Mealworms. He Was Always A Good Eater, Even Through His Shedding He Never Stopped Eating.
The Last Couple Of Weeks I Have Become Concerned About Him. He Does Not Seem To Want To Eat. The Last Couple Of Weeks, He Has Been On Brown Crickets Instead Of Black And Not Eating Any Crickets. He Has Been Eating Mealworms Instead.
I Was Looking Back At Old Pictures And Noticed That The End Of His Tail Has Got Thinner.
So Yesterday I Went To The Pet Shop And Got Some Black Crickets, More Meal Worms And I Decided To Give Him ONE Waxworm To Help Fatten Him Up. He Has Ate More Mealworms And The Waxworm.
Anyone Know Why He Not Eating Crickets? I Know Waxworm Is Bad And So Is Mealworm, How Can I Get Him Onto Crickets? Really Worried About My Baby Boy Has He Has Got Thinner And Just Seems To Be Sleeping More. There Is ALWAYS Food Left In There.

Might be getting picky with his foods as he knows you are giving him fatty foods and he may like mealworms more. There is a link at the top with the pros and cons of mealworms.

I Know Mealworms And Waxworms Are Bad For Them, But Thats The Only Thing Hes Eating. Does Anyone Think Hes Just Got Bored Of Crickets?
He Has Always Been On Crickets Coz Of The Fact That Mealworms And Waxworms Are Bad For Him. Hes Only Had A Couple Waxworms Coz They Can Get Addicted To Them And All That.

They can also become addicted to meal worms as well. How are you feeding him, in a dish I'm assuming? What time do you feed him or do you leave them in all day? Try this, firs of all try feeding him at night around 9-10:00 pm. Try grabbing a cricket by the leg with tweezers and let it dangle in front of him. Wiggle it around if you have to but hold it in front of him and make sure he sees it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't but let me know what happens.
