Of course, I can do it.

The most important thing is that your breeding pair is old and fat enough when you decide to mate them. If not, there can be egg bounding and other serious complications. At the winter before the next breeding saison it is absolutly necessary to cool them down at the temp. of 22°C for about two months (December to Jan./Feb.). Feed them only once per week, but water must be available all the time. This period is very important especially for the female ones to regenerate. Before you mate them feed them very well (supplements et al.) After all put them together, one up to two days. But at the most time you will see, If they mate or not. Separate them again and after about 6 weeks the female one will lay a pair of eggs. Add an egg laying box to make it more easy for the female one. Some days before she will start digging and breaking up her nocturnal life. Put the eggs in boxes with perlite and close them very well. Only add so much water that there is a little condensation in the boxes when they are in the incubator at the temp. of about 27,4°C (thats my breeding temp.). After all check the boxes every other day and wait until they are hatching after about 100 days (amyae) or 80 days (wheeleri).

It is according to amyae and wheeleri not to the smooth knobtails, 'cause I don't have any experiences with them!!

I don't know exactly. On the caresheets of my homepage there is no significant difference between smooth and rough knobtails, but their eggs are softer than the amyae ones, so they might be more sensible according to the humidity.

I have seen a adult pair of N. levis levis for about 600 - 800€.
But I will take a closer look at the next hamm show.

You can breed almost everything on vermiculit. For Levis it could be better using it than perlit.

Females should weigh at least something around 25g and be 2 years old.

The differences in color are that some are brown, some are red-brown or just red :coverlaugh:

Happily there is no color hype like in Leopard Geckos.
