Spaghnum Peat Moss Miracle Gro

I bought some Sphagnum Peat Moss, the miracle gro brand. Is this OK?

If it's just plain peat, no added fertilizer, vermiculite and other stuff, then it should work.

please dont use anything "miracle grow" for your pets substrate. only use "certified organic" if going to your local nursery or buy the stuff pre packaged for reptiles. hope this helps and i hope you saved your receipt

There's no need to use only "certified organic" products. As long at there's no additional fertilizer, water retention beads or the like, and stabilizers, it's safe enough. Pure plain peat about as organic as you can get, even without the certification. Even other products don't need it. It's not going to hurt anything, but it's not necesary.
