So my baby leopard gecko is shedding, he has been working on it for the past few hours. I don't know if it is normal for it to take this long. I don't remember it ever taking this long before.
Anyway, my problem is this. He has shed stuck on his face and has had it there for about an hour. I have been watching him attempt to get it but he hasn't yet. I am just worried that it is stuck and he cant get it. He has spent most of the morning in his humid hide, but now he is just in his warm hide, no longer trying to get the skin off.
Do I just give him more time? Is this a problem? Is there anything I can or should do to make it easier for him?
I am including a picture so you can see what he looks like right now.
I would appreciate any advice, even if it is that I need to let him do his thing and he will be fine.
Please and thank you!
