Website Up - give it the once over?

I, or well, my roommate, finally finished the website. There are still a few little layout things that need correcting (like a couple awkward white spaces or how the sample pictures in "artwork" don't pop up quickly) but those will be corrected tonight.

I would just like a couple people to check it out and let me know if something looks off on your computers, if something isn't loading properly, or if there are ad banners that shouldn't be there from my hosting site. That way if there's anything else that needs fixing I can tell my roommate and we can iron out the kinks once and for all.

There's a link in my signature, but click here to go to the site too.

Oh and opinions :) I tried to make it really simple, but pretty, so let me know what you think. Thanks!

Just some observations.

1) The font you use for the links and for the names of your breeders is very difficult to read.

2) The picture on the main page of the three geckos would look more balanced if, for example, the 2 leopard geckos on each end were facing the same direction, and the crested going the other direction.

3) This is just me, but on the main page I wouldnt put what I plan to work with in the future. Once you are working with that species, then I think it would be more appropriate to add it to your site.

Im sure you also know the amount of competition you face. Everyone and their mother who has a pair of leopard geckos has a website and a business name. Until you are consistently able to offer offspring, I would maybe take down the "Available" page and just post for sale ads on here.

Hope this helps.

Alright thanks, I'll look into changing it.

Of course I know there's competition, I know I'm not going to make a profit overnight, if ever. But I'm getting a considerable amount of work lately as a reptile artist for other breeders and thought that a website with some samples and an art section was definately something I needed. And while I'm at it, finally get a section up for my hatchlings.
