5gallon tank help

Hey again,

I recently got a free 5 gallon tank from a work friend. Just wondering if people have any suggestions on what I can put in it.

I know its to small for most geckos. But I am open to any suggestions. Like a small frog or crab?

I could just make it for crickets but I would prefer something nicer to look at heh.

Thanks

I was afraid someone would suggest that lol.

I am terrified of spiders. Thanks though.

Anything else at all?

A pair or even a group of paroedura androyensis would be well in a tank of this size.
Or a scorpion!

I would put in day geckos they are so pretty the colors that they have are just breath taking. Yes they like to stick on the wall but they don't get big they stay somewhat small. :)

even though scorpions are similar to spiders in being a arachnid, they are awesome pets. i had two but there life span isn't that long i had mine for about 4 years. anyways that would be a great choice for a 5 gallon tank.

You could get 1 or 2 land hermit crabs. They are awesome. If you had a 10g you could have putted like 5-6 Hermit crabs in it :p They dont grow fast but can grow as big as a baseball( wich takes many years ), Live up to 25 years old and even more. They love to climb on things and they need a good layer of sand for molting ( at least twice the height of the crab ) I managed to keep some in my 5g. Thay are relatively easy to take care but the molting process is so stressfull for them that this can kill them. This is how i lost all my Land hermit crabs. Ohh and they really have a personality , Seriously ! I had one that was really shy and never come out to see me and another one that was hyperactive when i picked him up :)
