Hi i bought a few weeks ago this flexarium and put my some of my geckos into it. Since that time they get used to the new home and put some eggs onto the bark.

Looks great! However, I'm not sure which species, but i believe the geckos could get seriously hurt of they leapt onto the light bulb!

They never tried to leap onto the lamp just by night. The geckos only use the bark and the sides of the flexarium in daytime but if i could see something like that i remove immediately. Thanks you mentioning this possible source of danger.
Anyway i can't remove the eggs. I guess i should leave them there they look good.
(c.turneri anyway)

I thought the same thing when I first saw the pics. It would definitely help to know what type of geckos you have. As well as what type of bulb that is. Even the CF bulbs get a bit warm but they should be able to sit on top of the enclosure. Incandescent bulbs would need to be raised above the enclosure so as not to melt the mesh. I would personally only use bulbs inside the enclosure for non climbing / sticking geckos.

The enclosure looks great though. Just not too sure about the light being inside the enclosure.

I haven't removed the lamp but i put into a 11w cf bulb instead of incandescent. Now i am checking the temp of the lamp outer and inner surface. Hope its good. I feared that maybe the bulb could burn the fabric and therefore i put inside the lamp. I never saw the animals on the lamp only by night when its off. They really love high temp especially winter when the laying eggs.
I will see if its no good this way i put a small exoterra cover with a 25w bulb outside to the top of it. :)
