Sleepy Gecko?

Hi!
My gecko is very sleepy. When I put him under my collar or something he just goes straight to sleep! He does it at night times aswell.
Is this just my gecko's characteristics or do more gecko's do it or maybe my gecko has something wrong?

It's probably nothing but just in case!

? very confused.. but a crestie sleeping at night sounds highly unlikely. If u stay up late with a low watt black ull see him active

Yh i have a red light. He's sleeping on my keyboard now!! He doesnt do it too much at night but i understand it in the day.

Why would you put your gecko under your collar or on your keyboard? Isn't it better to let him in his enclosure? Maybe he will behave more as a gecko then.....

It's likely his personality. If he's awake at least from like 12-4am or something at night then it's fine. Is he eating ok? Any noticeable weight loss? If he seems to be acting lathargic, it could be entameoba.

Though, I have a gecko like this too. Sorta. He doesn't sleep wherever I put him but when I'm wearing a shirt with a shirt pocket, if I show him the pocket, he climbs in and goes to sleep. He won't sleep otherwise (Obviously he will in his cage... In an egg carton though :p). He's just a cuddle bug and likes to find places to sleep. You're gecko maybe just wears himself out at night or something lol

He's eating ok. Just getting used to his food. He is awake between 12-4 am so its probably because he's just cuddly :biggrin:
