P.m.grandis introducing

I have female grandis 16 months old, and a male about 4-5 years old, in two enclosures.
My plan is to introduce them next month.

I heard the best way is to move them both to completely new enclosure.

Opposite to that method...did someone try to make some sort of connection between two enclosures?
That way the two lizards woud maintain luxury of having their own basking spot, plenty of space and having opportunity to meet a mate.:)

Initially I was going to suggest a new enclosure entirely, as if you introduce one to the others environment, they are likely to be very territorial and not allow them in their area!! But the thought of combining the two, I'm not sure on that, I would say its worth tryng but not sure the outcome will be as you like, as they may just stay in their own area!! Plua it is more than likely difficult, depending on what terrariums they are in!!

If you wish to only use an enclosure they are in now introducing the male in to the females enclosure should be less of a hassle. If introduced the other way around the male may possible attack the female.

Agreed...Or you can decide on one enclosure, clean it using extremely hot water and a brush to try to get as much of the scent mark off, "rearrange the furniture", and introduce them to the new place about 2-5 minutes apart with the female going in first. I usually do this around this time of year when introducing or re-introducing pairs. It seems to get them quite interested in one another.

Thanks for the advices, but i was to curious not to build the bridge between the two enclosure.

After i install „the bridge“ , the female was so eager, in 15 min. she was in the males cage.

I know it would be better that the male was in females cage.
When the male notice the f. ,first he act agresive and she hides behind plants, not back to her cage.
Mabe she dont know how to return to home?

After few min. the m shows courtship behaviour, jerk his head, flick his tongue and arch his back toward the female, also vocalize.
She also jerk her head, flick her tongue and lift her leg toward the male.
That, i think is non-receptive behaviour.

He was wery persistent but not aggressive.
I left her in his cage from yesterday evening.

Today same story, he continuously try to court her, she was avoiding it.
She is bright green and not hiding.
I think he even offer her his basking spot.

Now, after a day spend together, it seems to me like there is no aggression between them.

Maybe it takes some time for her to change her mind.:)

??????????????

Sorry for bad english.

Worth keeping a close eye on them. She's saying 'I'm not interested' and he's saying 'I'm bigger and more powerful than you and if you're not interested, you're on my patch without an invite'.

Good looking tanks! I also introduce the male into the female's enclosure, but I'll also usually move a piece of bamboo from the males enclosure as well. Best of luck with your guys!

@Adrn : The tanks are made from old wardrobe, front screans, with holes are made by glazier.

By the way, last Friday I saw them mateing...
But dont think theres going to be futilized eggs, yesterday I notice yellow liquid, looking like remains from unfurtilized eggs that she eat after laying.

The are still in same tank, now and then, see them grumble (vocalize)at each other, but no aggression. Once I saw them laying one on another beneath basking spot .
All in all, it seems like they doing fine together.
