i have had a female leopard for about two years now. im considering getting another female and adding her to the tank. i have a couple of ?s about it though.

1. is a 20 gallon long big enough for to adult leopards

2. will there be any problems with territory and if so how to deal with it.

When you get a new female, any new gecko for that matter, you need to quarantine it. I do 60 days, some to minimum 30, others do 90 days. I would suggest at least 30 days.

Once quarantine is done introduce them to each other in a completely neutral territory. Clean the tank completely including all the hides after they meet somewhere else, and then place them inside it. If there's any signs of aggression you need to separate them.

20gal is just enough room for two adult females, but make sure to provide a few extra hides for each female.

also, the female should be of around same size and weight, so if they do start fighting one of them isn't going to just get eaten.

Forgot that one. Thanks, Lindsay. :)

I had a female who would stalk a hatchling walking outside her tank. The glass was there, but she insisted on eating the baby.
