More wild Geckos from Northern Australia

G'day all,

Here are a few more geckos I recently found up north. I was able to spend a bit of time around Darwin before flying to the Kimberley.

I was really lucky to see a couple of species I had never seen in the wild.
The highlight was the Giant Cave Gecko. We saw about 5-6 in a couple of hours searching some massive sandstone cliffs.

Whilst out searching for them we also saw another large gecko sitting on the rocks. Oedura gemmata are a limited range velvet gecko that also occurs in the sandstone boulders.

All the best,

Fantastic pictures, thanks for posting them. The eye lick photo made me want a P. lindneri in the worst way.
