I've been looking for a male Henkeli for about about 6 months and about a months ago I found a 2 year captive on a chameleon forum, at a great price too, so I immediately snatched him up.
heres a few pics of my handsome new boy
So heres the thing when I first introduced him to my girl he chased her around for about an hour. She seemed kinda responsive but a little reluctant she quacked a few times. So I took him out then a week ago I stuck them back together and they locked up in ten min, even with the lights in the room on and the tv on too. I haven't been home every night but I have seen them locked up a second time as well.
When I put them together the first time I watched them with the Night Vision on my camera and decided to tape a little. it's kinda boring but I decided to throw it up here for fun. Also the reason I separated them was because I could see that she was about to drop eggs.Useful Trick - Night Vision allowed me to see she was gravid plain as day!
YouTube - U Henkeli Love is in the Air
My question is can I leave them together or will this stress her out too much. There in an 18x18x36 right now and I'm half way done with a 15x15x60 I'm building for them which will be done by like July. I know that all animals and coupling situations are different from individual to individual so I'm just looking for opinions and personal experiences I don't expect a definite yes or no, all comments and impute are very appreciated complements criticism I like it all
Thanks
