I was just wondering if anyone here has seen or had experience with black and white cresteds? I'm not talking about high contrast blondes or anything, i'm talking moonglow white with BLACK patterns?

no, she was originally from Robbie Hamper, from her line she was trying to breed down into pure moonglows. she's totally unique and i'd love to get a male like her but i cant find anything even remotely close

From what I recall there are no such things as albino cresties yet. I could be mistaken but that's the last I heard.

Could she be considered a snow camo? She is definately unique
I've never heard of Robbie Hamper. Is there a website or anything? If you don't mind me asking, how much did she cost you? I'm definately interested in possibly getting myself a gecko like that if at all even possible O-O

Robbie Hamper is a fairly well known breeder, she wrote the book "crested geckos in captivity"

Amazon.com: Crested Gecko in Captivity (With Notes on All 'Rhacodactylus' Species (Professional Breeders Series)…

I got her pretty cheap from the girl who bought her from Robbie. She was getting rid of all her reptiles, and just wanted her to have a good home, so i only paid a hundred. i found another female very similar listed at 800 though

I'm having a hell of a time finding a male though.... so good luck lol

Interesting, you could very well start a moonglow project off her :)
I saw a nice pic of a VERY furry moonglow male on google. I can't find him right now but he was definately a nice looker! I hope you find a male for your girl!!! Keep us updated on any projects you start with her

You gotta tell me where you are finding all these girls and for how much
I'd love to see a cookies and cream breeding started lol. That's my favorite ice cream :p
I'd buy like 50 of the babies haha

my male fires up pretty darn close to black, with almost white markings =D
i bred him to a red female so I'm hoping to get some tricolor babies..

I've seen some almost completely black cresties at gorgeous gecko, but they don't really look uh... normal? :?

I don't want to to get into the black thing but there is no such thing as a "pure" of any morph, much less moonglows which do not really exist. The one priced at $800 doesn't even fit the description of a supposed "moonglow" in the pic.

Just my $o.o2

What? You don't think it's possible to make a moonglow from an overexposed, out of focus picture?
There's no way I'd pay $800 for that one or any of the colours and morphs out there right now. Considering that their inheritance is hard to predict, you might not get the same type of offspring.

Moonglow - everyone's got a different opinion on what it takes to make one. I've never yet seen, nor heard of, somebody having one that matches the gecko in the original moonglow picture. There are lots of theories about that one too, seems the most common are that it's about to shed combined with the lighting for the picture gave it that special look.

Yea, i highly doubt there is a pure moonglow crestie anywhere in the world. and i'm skeptical that there will ever be one, but who knows. but yes $800 for the one girl is crazy. I paid 100 for mine and the other one i should have got was only 70. I'd go considerably higher if i found a boy, but i wouldn't come near touching 800.

That's how my blonde is. He gets SUPER dark with white dorsal and markings :)
I also have a Halloween that is still under 10g so his color is still developing but he gets super super almost black, dark with bright orange
I'm anxious to see how he turns out :D

I found that pic I was looking for. Whether it is a true moonglow or not it looks pretty nice. This boy has major furry though! I just love him

The picture is originally from here with that geckos owner posting a comment on him as well

"The new moonglow, and a hatchling..."
