My name is Holly. I got my first Leopard Gecko three years ago. She is a High Yellow(Paige), and very friendly. A couple months later I went to the show In Tinley Park and got a female Tangerine(Henrietta). She's not quite as friendly as the high yello, but she's really calmed down a lot since I got her. My younger brother had a couple males that I introduced my girls to when I visited him in Michigan. Last summer I managed to successfully hatch four eggs. I've kept two of them, both are high yellow like Paige (Gizmo and Stephanie). Last summer at the Columbus show I puchased a baby patternless (Harry) and a Sunglow (Ginny). I purchased a few new babies at Tinley park last fall. One is a Cremecicle snow (Cirie) another is a Ghost snow (Cyrus-after a cat I had for 17 years). Both were purchased from JMG I also got a male tangerine (Oliver) who wasn't eating very well for a long time, but with some individual attention he's hit a few growth spurts and has some gorgeous color now. I have about Twelve eggs incubating right now. Hopefully the hatch rate will be good because my girls goe through a lot to lay them. Just last month, I got a baby Mack Snow (Emma) who is growing fast and has gotten very tame for her age. Her bands are already turning to spots. They mostly eat crickets and meal worms, with Butter worms, silk worms, and wax worms thrown in. Ocassionally they have horn worms and go right to the heat pads after eating them.
I also got my first fat-tail gecko in Columbus (Galadriel) who has a dorsal stripe and Lavender and Tangerine Fat Tail from Tinley Park (Kaylee). I hope to get a male het in the next few months to try to breed them in November and December.
Most Recently I got myself a couple of pictus geckos (Ron and Hermione) they eat crickets and meal worms, but love phoenix worms.
I also have a Bearded Dragon (Prue), a Mali Uromastix (Sydney), and a Rudis Chameleon (Neville), but the Geckos are my breeding projects.
