Ok, so I asked earlier on this thread about possibly getting a crested. I think I'm going to take the plunge, but I still have one set back. I have read the FAQ on the top of the forum, and looked all over online, but still not sure about size of tank. Would a 20 high work alright? I'd rather not flip a 20 long because I want to be able to add a heat lamp on top if it gets chilly in the winter time here at night time. The exoterras are great, but get pretty pricey. Would a 20 high be sufficient for ONE crested gecko for the LIFE of the gecko? It looks like it would give me plenty of room to plant some nice plants, etc. Thoughts?
The only thing is if you get a hatchling i would keep it in something smaller till it reaches about 4" long, any type of large Tupperware container or small kritter keeper works great
