smell of smoke bad for leopard geckos?

I have had my gecko in my room since december (she was in the basement before) and the tenant in the bachelor apartment smokes and has two cats. unfortunately he smokes in his house and the living room he smokes in is under my room. so my room smells of cat urine and smoke:-x. is this harmful to my gecko?

I don't know for sure, but all I can say is both my husband and I smoke and the leos are within smoke distance but they don't seem bothered or harmed by it.

Cigarette smoke isn't good for anyone (including geckos). But if it's not directly in the room, I can't imagine it's really causing any harm. Bummer that you have to deal with the smell of cat urine and cigarettes though! Perhaps get yourself an ozone generator. They do wonders to take even the strongest of smells out of the air.

Probably not . Could be harmful to your social life though ;-)

My advice is , ask your landlord for a big reduction or move out !

i'm the landlord lol. i don't think my parents want to kick him out because he is a nice guy. but hes going to have to start getting better cat litter and start smoking outside.
