Breeding during the "off season?"

Most geckos will produce eggs during a several-month period when they're ovulating. Most of them ovulate around Jan-Sept but there are leopard geckos that naturally ovulate at other times of the year. There are also breeders that manipulate when their geckos ovulate by controlling lighting and temperature.

Good question. Aliza is right on. If you keep your leos in an area that does not get impacted from natural sunlight, you can 'change' the seasons of your leopard geckos. You will need to work with temps and with lighting to do this though. Not the easiest thing in the world and I wonder if it is worth the effort.

You can, the factors that been aluded to above are what leos use to establish their circadian rhythm.

Included factors you can control are light intensity (a dimmer after a timer for example), lunar cycles, humidity, and food/water availability.

The only other factor that may also be a factor that you can't do much about is barometric pressure.
