hello, I've got some questions on P.klemmeri.
do they get along in groups as well as they say they do?
how many adults can fit in an 18'18'24
do females get along together (i've heard that they can be agressive)
thanks,
Phelsuma klemmeri is amongst the most tolerant of phelsuma species, however males do NOT get along with eachother, multiple females MIGHT but not HAVE to get along with eachother, i keep a trio 1.2 that was raised together and that are doing fine however a sudden change of dynamics within the group can occur at all times making the dominant female supress the other one. keep this in mind and surveillance is needed so you can seperate the less dominant female when this happens
if you add a female to an established couple in my opinion this will not work...
My 2 females are constantly laying eggs and they do not eat eachothers eggs which CAN be the case in a 1.2/1.3 constellation.
So 1.2/1.3 group is possible under the right circumstances but can go wrong at all times. A pair would be the easier way to go...
