Swimming leo?

I was just wondering if anyone else has a Leo who likes to swim? I breed Cresties and only have one little leo, so i don't have as much experience with them. My guy has a waterfall in his tank, and its open to the underground reservoir in the front, and he loves to climb in and swim around. I assume he does it to cool off. I used to freak and worry he'd drown be he never has any problems. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Thanks!!!

I actually took the waterfall out of my guys cage for a few months and he got chronically depressed lol. He refused to eat, lost almost 20 grams, wouldnt move around or do anything. I was so scared for him. Then i fixed the waterfall and gave it back and he went right back to normal!!

My lizards walk through their water all the time and they're not the least bit irked. I guess it just depends on the lizard's personality.

This doesn't have much to do with anything, but I'm considering getting a crested gecko, and you said that you're a breeder... What size cage? I've looked it up but I really want to take great care of him/her!!!

Cresties dont like a whole lot of space, for hatchlings-15 grams i use small of med. sized plastic critter keepers, although a shoe box sized tupaware will work just fine too. After that they'll do great in a ten gallon for one, or a fifteen or twenty gallon for two. :)

Thanks a lot! Really, I haven't been able to find an answer. All the sites say different things. Although I read that the terrarium should be taller than it is long. Do you think this is true?
