Insert Savvy Intro Here...

So I figured it was time to do this...

I live in Kansas, not to far from the speedway and had recently gotten into Leos 2 years ago when my mother told me someone she worked with was giving one away and told me about it so I couldn't pass it up.

I actually had lizards when I was a kid, I didn't want hamsters or guinea pigs, I wanted lizards.

So I started out with a couple of Green Anoles (Zilla and Liz) and my first Leo Amazon, who I didn't know was a desert gecko until I was given lizard books.

I had my Amazon for almost ten years before he died in my freshman year in high school and gave on lizards until Commando came to me.

Of course Commando was sexed wrong, so he turned to a she so a name change was in order, so Commando turned to Commanda. From what I was told about her, she had been through several homes and had lived in a school for a bit, more than likely a class pet.

Then I got a baby Leo, from what my sister was told, a Mack Snow, though he's already faded a bit (pictures are crummy but he's still pretty grey with a bit of yellow frosting) and will be a year in November.

Decided to join, as it is always nice to have a community to ask questions and everything, and help solve problems.

Hi InsanePirateDragon ~

Welcome to GU! You have found us and are posting. That is so wonderful .

Commanda and Small Fry are great looking geckos :cheer: Sorry to hear that they met with tail mishaps about a week ago. Regenerated tails are never the same as original tails :(.

Looks as if you did a fine job of bringing Commanda through her former health worries.
