What tiles are best for Viv...

I'm curious as to what tiles people use in their vivariums. Mine have been on sand, reptile carpet, and paper towels and I've heard mention of tiles.

Are they like the ones for flooring, walls, show pictures even, I'm very curious.

um just normal flooring tiles, slate work or ceramic. you can find them in lowes or home depo. i don't really use them but im sure other people will chime in with more info and pictures

Ceramic work well and are glazed, so they tend to be easier to keep clean. But natural stone (slate, sandstone, etc) looks...well...more natural. But being porous, natural stone can be harder to get truly clean. Personally I use a lot of slate (from home depot/lowes/etc). I like to break it into smaller pieces that make for a very naturalistic look. You can see some pics of how I tend to use it in this thread here: http://www.geckosunlimited.com/community/other-herps/49890-new-jeweled-lacerta-babies.html

I use slate as well. Since leos tend to poop in only one area of their tank, I have two large slate tiles with one narrower slate tile (toilet tile - haha!) that i can easily remove to clean. You can see pics below. The toilet tile is on the left.
