Will Gecko adjust to changed lay out?

Hey everyone....

When I bought my gecko the other day the previous owner had the moist hide on the cool side. I thought this was odd, but she said thats what they've always done so I left it there for a few days. I talked to a petsmart employee who owns a Leo and he said that I should definitely switch it to the warm side.

So I went home and switched the moist hide to the warm side. In the three days that I owned him while the MH was on the cool side I saw him use the moist hide once, granted im sure he used it a lot more. Since I've moved it I've never seen him use it, but its more than probable that he has.

But is it possible that he would be confused or something and never use the moist hide on the other side? In your guys experience have your guys taken to new lay outs in the viv's, whether of moist hides or anything else?

He's probably just freaked out at being moved. You need to just give him time to acclimate. Leave him alone for a week or two and just let him do his thing. Feed and water and nothing else...just let him be.
