Eurydactylodes vieillardi 8 days clutch interval!

Hey,

I figure I would note that today I had a vieillardi female that today layed her 3rd clutch of eggs in the past 3 weeks. Normally I find mine usually lay about every month on the dot, however this female seems to be going into hyper-drive. She is under the same conditions as all my other Eurys so I don't know why exactly she seems to be producing like this.

Just figured I would see if anyone else has had a similar experience to this.

Derek, I think something like that happened over at Steve's place. When I was watching his geckos when he was at the last Hamm show I dug up 3 clutches of eggs in the nest box of one pairing. When he got back I blamed him for neglecting his nest boxes which he denied doing of course. So we were a little confused, he was only away for a week and maybe he only checked the nest box a week or two before he left for the trip, so basically 3 good clutches were laid within a very short period of time like you are saying. I thought it was kinda strange and didn't really believe that he was regularly checking the nest boxes cuz I've never seen any rapid egg production like that before or even heard of such a thing, but now that you posted this im starting to believe him lol.
