Water

I keep seeing all these nice enclosures with clear glass and very little if any spots on them. Mine on the other hand although they start out nice start to look "foggy" after a couple days and no matter what I do I cant keep the water spots off the glass. I was using tap water then switched to spring water which helped a little. Are you guys using distilled to mist the enclosures and in the water bowls? I dont have the luxory of being able to use a water softener,etc. Thanks.

Use Reverse Osmosis water and you won't get them. Otherwise they come right off with vinegar.

I am unable to hook up a reverse osmosis system in my current situation; I use distilled water-have not encountered any problems (been using it for 2 years).

i use filtered tap water, no problems with that. Well every 5 months i still clean the cages with lemon juive, Way more effective the vinegar in my opninion.
