Hi,

i wanted to ask, what a D3 dosage you are use for your Uroplatus, especially among the tree-dwelling species.

I use for now a lightning bulb with lower UV requirements. Simulates the full UV spectrum of natural sunlight. 2% UVB and 10% UVA. High light output.

I now brought the dietary supplement Korvimin.

Someone made a negative experience with regular pollination of Korvimin on crickets under such illumination (2% UVB and 10% UVA) of the animals?

Thanks and regards,
Oliver.

Hi,

You can check this link and there're some caresheet for special Uroplatus speceis : Welcome!

It seems that some Uroplatus don't need UV but variable food source is important to offer D3 and other nutrition.:blushing:

Hello Oliver,

Korvimin is a good product and I use it for all my geckos and chameleons. But it has a rather high D3 concentration and it is good to use it with a product that doesn't contain D3, if you like you can also mix it with pure calcium.

Kind regards, Tim
