A Suitable Leopard Gecko Enclosure

Hey, it's me again. Trying to find a reasonable solution to properly heat my Leopard Gecko's enclosure without burning my house down. I have an under tank heating pad but my enclosure is plastic, I'm trying to avoid glass and keep it light. I've seen many people on the web with plastic enclosures for their reptiles but how do you regulate heat in a plastic enclosure?

Thanks, though Allee revealed to me something I wasn't aware of. My Leo has a regrown tale, I don't like that so I'm taking it back and I'm getting another one; one much younger and not all "funky" looking.

Didn't you like the way he looked when you got him? This is not a disposable diaper, it's a living, breathing creature! It's not like a regrown tale will impact his health in any way and it's not a genetic trait. Careful buying a young one cause it's colors will change and you might not be happy with how "funky" looking it turns out as an adult.

Agreed. Sounds pretty unreasonable to me. If you didn't notice or care before, it shouldn't matter now.

I knew he wasn't normal because his tail wasn't quite like the others but he now has someone to love him, and I'm left with a pregnant female.

A pregnant one? Is this your first leo?? Do you know how to care for the babies or for the mother while she is pregnant?!

Lmao! Yes, I have Allee in my corner. @IslaReina; No this isn't my first leo but this is the first time I've had a pregnant one...btw' thank you Allee for everything.
