Amount of food for phelsuma grandis?

Hi!
My (first ever) gecko is moving in in a couple of days. It will be awsome and I think I'm well prepared :D
I know I should feed him twice a week in the winter, one with insects and once with fruit, but my question is: how much?
I guess I just supposed that e.g. one cricket a week would be a proper amount? And what about fruit, what kind of size of e.g. a piece of mango would be good?

Don't want to starve him, don't want to overfeed him..

He's one year old. About 20 cm long I would guess. I read somewhere that they are full grown at around 18 months, do you know if that's right?

I would probably do crickets 2 or 3 times a week and baby food(fruit flavored) roughly once a week. Make sure your adding some calcium and multivitamins to the crickets at least once a week. With my geckos I use baby food mixed with Repashy Day Gecko Diet(or T-Rex Day Gecko Diet) every other time I use baby food. You can actually use this in place of a cricket feeding as well. Yeah with the larger Phelsuma it takes longer for them to get full grown. You'll start to learn how much they will eat in a week and how much is too much. Good luck! Make sure to post some pictures once you get it

1 cricket a week is not enough. Try 3 or 4 and make sure they are of an appropriate size. And phelsuma will not eat fruit like an iguana does. They lick it up like a cat so be sure to mash it up into a fine puree or liquid. Mango, papaya, peaches, melon, etc. Mine will eat almost any fruit puree except banana. I serve it up (mixed with vitamins & calcium) in a small plastic bottle cap.

Now my grandis is here! Bertil I call him. My camera isn't very good, but you get the idea.. He has kind of a luxurious home for only one lizard (100 x 100 x 60 cm) but maybe he'll get company and kids one day..

Nice grandis. Best of luck. And do not worry about the enclosure being too large. A phelsuma grandis will use nearly every inch of the enclosure. Very active geckos.
